Methodology
My methodology draws from decades of experience in human performance, athletic pursuits, wilderness expeditions, and insights gained from world-class mentors. It is deeply rooted in the natural world and informed by my personal journey overcoming significant health challenges.
My mission is to equip and empower you by clarifying the playing field, identifying risks and opportunities, developing strategic frameworks, and when necessary, assembling the right team of experts to support your journey. When necessary additional specialists are available. My practice is unique in a few ways.
Strength and Performance
Optimizing health and performance through integrated well-being. Basic physical fitness is not rocket science or difficult to achieve. A strong, limber body and adequate endurance are achievable for most people and pays dividends professionally and personally your entire life.
Mental Fitness
With exceptions, mental fitness is not taught. Acquiring stress management skills, a reslient mindset, and a suite of self-awareness tools for more serious challenges is accessible. It improves your ability to manage life's challenges and opportunties, enriches your lived experience, and equips you to successfully manage the inevitable challenges we all face.
Proprietary Self-Discovery Model
Intention is everything. Absent self-knowlege - which changes over time - one may be making progress towards the wrong goals. I encourage clients who will benefit to complete my self-authoring course to get to know themselves, clarify their beliefsand valuess, meaning, purpose, in service of clarifying their intentions.
Nature and Solitude
Being alone with ourselves and our thoughts has become arguably virtually impossible to do in a hyper-connected world. This has literally changed the way we think, and the way we perceive ourselves, others, and the world. I encourage clients to consider these two modalities as an increasingly rare way to down regulate their nerverous systems, experience the planet in a manner fewer and fewer people do, and an opportunity to get reacquainted with themselves without the 24x7 intrusion of calls, texts, emails, and other digital stimulation.
